L'oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Crystal Sparkling Shampoo
Well I have to admit that on this occasion I was sucked in to the packaging and the shiny sparkly bits that caught my eye...I know, I know, I shouldn't have but I couldn't resist the way it looked on the shelf in Boots, drawing me in, like a magpie I was.
My hair type is oily roots after two days washing with slightly dry ends, but this shampoo is for fine/normal dull hair. Anyway, I thought I'd give it a go.
The sparkles are water soluble micro crystals which illuminate the hair's surface making it silky smooth.
The shampoo does what it claims to do and as soon as my hair is rinsed, I can hear the squeak, and once dried, well the shine is incredible. As this shampoo is for fine/normal/dull hair types, it sadly doesn't keep the grease at bay, so I still use my favourite shampoo first which I talked about here.
L'oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss is available from all high street chemists and is priced at £3.99 for 400ml.

L'Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Foundation
With 5 foundations already under their belt it was only a matter of time before L'Oreal Paris brought out another one to add to the extensive range. True Match Liquid Foundation is different due it being a foundation that claims to match your skin tone by colour and texture.
I have been using this constantly for a month to give it a far trail and honest review. The verdict...I LOVE it. It blends so good, it's unbelievable and yes it does blend with your natural skin tone. It has great coverage. The staying power is very good with the only shine breaking through on me is at the side of the nose, which is something I usually have a problem with even with a decent primer.
The foundation is quite runny and I find that I don't need an awful lot to cover my whole face. I apply it using my fingers (shock, horror) as using a foundation brush makes it streaky.
The shade I use is Rose Ivory. There are 20 shades in total, so really a shade for all skin tones. Probably in the summer months when I catch some sun I will probably need a warmer shade as this is one of the lightest.
One downside is the bottle. I've never been keen on glass foundation bottles as when it gets near the end you're not able to get at it with the pump dispenser. I rather prefer plastic slim packaging where you're able to cut it in half and really get your moneys worth!
So, will I buy this again? Yes without a doubt. This replaces my Revlon Colorstay for daily wear.
I bought this from Superdrug for £7.99 due to a promotion they were having but normally retails at £9.99. I think this is good value as I count L'Oreal as a 'highend highstreet' brand. You can view the range here at the Superdrug website but is available in highstreet chemists/drug stores.
Have you tried this foundation? I would love to hear from you.

L'oreal Glam Shine Stain Splash
I heard about these products via other
beauty bloggers and in the press, so I was keen to try them for myself.
Hailed as an alternative to the expensive YSL Glossy Stain I decided I
would just have to check them out.
Superdrug were offering 3 for 2 on make up
so I thought it would be rude not too indulge...
I decided on the three colours I liked
best after swatching them on my hand.
- 101 Lolita
- 102 Romy
- 400 Eve
Feather soft wands
What makes these so special is that
they are 30% water based, easy to apply and lovely and shiny and definitely stain the lips.
However, I have found that they don't stay glossy for the whole 6 hours but the
colour does stay on.
I'm happy with the colours that I have
bought but I don't think I would buy them on a regular basis when these run
out, unless they are on offer.
All in all a great product to introduce
you to the lip stain craze.
